London Restaurant Removal & Storage

GJWisdom & Co are busy this week clearing the entire contents of a Japanese restaurant in London, Victoria. With additional transport from CTM Hire Ltd (Rainham, Essex).
Our instruction on behalf of the landlords property agent, is under a Tort Notice as the premises has been abandoned for over a year. It is clear Covid will have had a huge impact on this company, however, the landlords will have also been without any rent for this period. Therefore, as Tort Notices have expired we have been tasked with the removal, storage and likely Auction in due course.
This restaurant is spread over 3 floors with seating and bar areas on the ground and 1st floor and commercial kitchens to the basement. Therefore a lorry with crane has been arranged to assist with bringing up the larger kitchen items such as Rational Oven, Blue Seal, 6 Ring Gas Oven/Griddle/Salamander, Precision 6 Draw/Door Undercounter Fridges, Run Through Dishwasher & Other large Commercial Catering Equipment.
Early morning starts are a must as this gives us the advantage over the growing traffic in London as restrictions ease. We have accurately estimated to the client that this job will take 2 days, which will require 4 members of our staff with 4 x 3T Luton Vans, 2 x 7T Lorries & Lorry with Hiab, all with drivers to complete the removal. It’s important to have the knowledge to gauge the requirements of removal in advance, in order to ensure the right logistics are put in place and providing an accurate quote to clients.
It’s imperative for all GJWisdom & Co staff to understand and recognise the gravity and sometimes sensitive nature of these situations. In most cases, we are tasked with handling people’s livelihoods, therefore we have to treat each instruction with consideration to all parties, ensuring that all goods removed are done so with care. It’s always very important we attempt to locate any parts & accessories for all equipment in order to later maximise its value at Auction, as well making sure that disconnections to equipment are done so safetly, ensuring rubbish gets bagged or cleared and sweeping through the premises at the end of clearance to leave it tidy, safe and presentable for the client.
There is always a lot more to the process of our Auctions, therefore, we are planning more future updates, to give our followers and buyers a better insight and behind the scenes view of what GJWisdom & Co and it’s staff get up to on a regular basis.
