G J Wisdom & Co Auctioneers & Valuers are pleased to announce, that after another long process of tendering, we have again, been awarded a contract with HM Revenue & Customs.
We have been working with HM Revenue & Customs since the early 1990's, assisting with valuations, removals & sales of seized assets for non-payment of tax. As of 2012, a Tender process for this work was implemented, and we are now one of only a select few Auction companies in the UK to be awarded a contract for this work.
Covering area's within the South East of England & London, on average (excluding the Covid Pandemic) we handle more than 320 cases a year, resulting in obtaining payments, appraising, removing & storing goods under Enforcement and selling goods via Public Auction to settle tax liabilities. Over the years, we have been instructed in all manner of goods covering a wide variety of businesses and individuals.
As part of our contract, we are often called upon for instant valuations & removals, we have the ability to Auction entire factories from site or make single asset collections from all area's we cover as required by our client.
Whilst retaining such a high-profile client such as HM Revenue & Customs, it’s important that we maintain our accreditations and ensure we are continuously up to date with the latest regulations, which ensures our high standards are maintained.
As a result of the Pandemic, we anticipate a very busy period over the extent of our contract with HM Revenue & Customs and will be there to provide our services and support in full, while maintaining an understanding for what some businesses will have faced. We are often praised by taxpayers themselves for our understanding and discretion as well as the manner in which our staff conduct ourselves when carrying out, what is sometimes a very difficult task in high pressure situations. This ultimately comes down to the many years of experience & vast knowledge of our staff in the Enforcement sector.
