G J Wisdom & Co are instructed by the Administrator Nimish Patel of Hudson Weir to offer for sale the business and assets of 'Hydra International Ltd' an established Chemical Additive production company, following the unfortunate death of the Founder & CEO.

The business was established in 1994 and is a leading supplier of some 65 Chemical products, of which at least 12 are fast selling products via Amazon, eBay and the company's website. (Amazon Note: The account was personal with the Director and cannot be transferred, so is currently suspended).

There are two Leasehold properties in Milton Keynes, one houses the mixing and production, the other is used for packaging, storage & distribution.

Prior to the passing of the Director, the company had invested in plant to increase production and automate the process, for this there are 2 x 8000 litre S/S mixing vats, large capacity water storage and purification plant, bottle filling plant, sealing and label applicators. This plant was initially being installed, but in a building where there was no permission to manufacture, so was never commissioned or completed.

Currently, production is for a maximum of 4000 litres of product a day with the existing mixer, filling, sealing, capping and labelling, although currently this is a manual operation, but given the right investment could be automated and increased with the new plant, which despite not being in use, still turned over £2.6m in the year.

There are 65 Chemical Formulas that will be included in any sale, which should be of significant interest to similar businesses or anybody seeking to acquire a manufacturing business with significant success and longevity that has fallen into administration because of the circumstances of the death of the founder.

The sale will include significant stockpile of products, plant, machinery and intellectual property of chemical formulas and accreditations.
